Eunice ~ Original Hand-Painted Unicorn ~ A Rai Creation

She started life as a mule ~ a plain plastic toy from a farm set. The transformation began with a horn ~ a genuine Terebra maculata, the Marlin Spike Auger seashell, spiraling upward exactly as a unicorn horn should. Mule to mythic beast, just like that.

The rest of Eunice followed her horn's lead. Deep aubergine was proposed for her mane and hooves. Eunice declined. She is classy. Refined. She insisted on butter yellow ~ and it took three coats to cover the purple and arrive at the truth of her. A rich, warm butter yellow coat. A white mane. White tail. The palette was always hers ~ we just had to listen.

What emerged is a creature of quiet conviction ~ warm, luminous, and entirely herself.
